How do they measure Watts? Watts the truth in the indoor cycling world?

Coming soon... I will give my thoughts along with other highly qualified cycling authorities on all the hype when it comes to wattage measurement in the group indoor cycling fitness world. How and why do the current indoor cycling manufacturers put a power readout on the bikes they are selling, and is it really what they say it is and does. I believe this is something that needs to be said!

There are so many things one needs to look at when it comes to this subject. Been working on this for a long time!

Update 11-15-11

Didn't forget about this... Just making sure all the test info is perfect. Your going to go wow!

My new ride!

For the first time in almost 20 years I have the chance to ride any bike I want to ride! This is something very new to me because I was always told what bike to ride by each team I was racing on. So just over a month ago I received a demo model of BMC's Teammachine SLR01 to try for a few weeks (Same bike George Hincapie and Cadel Evans of Team BMC are riding in the Tour de France). To be totally honest I wasn't sure what to expect when I got it, so to make a long story short... It was love at first ride! I'm not kidding! Fast, quick, stiff, light, looks sweet, and most of all it doesn't kick your ass over the miles. I'm in my late 30's and I really don't want to feel every single bump in the road when I'm on a stiff bike. BMC has made a bike that does everything a high-end bike should do. I will be posting a full review soon, but all I can say for now is thanks to CycleSports Bike shop of Doylestown, PA and BMC for getting me a bike that let's me fly!
